Fall-Sweepstakes-Round-UpHopefully, you have survived our wild weather this weekend. It was rather blustery at my house, but we didn’t blow away! This past week was challenging for sweepstakes. Mostly, it was a busy week for me, lots of canning going on. I canned pickles, green beans and jam this week. Produce waits for no one! On top of all the canning, Thursday I had internet outages a couple of times. So, hopefully that’s all behind me and we can have an awesome sweeps week this week! July-Weekly-Sweepstakes-Round-UpWe finally got a little rain where I live! It’s been a warm, dry summer in Western Washington, so it was nice to get some cool weather and some misty rain. It’s canning season at my house, this week I canned 12 qts. of dill pickles, 3 qts. of hamburger dills and a double batch of pickle relish. So far, I’ve made 33 qts. of dill pickles and it looks like I’ll be making more. My son loves my dill pickles and pickle relish. Last year was the first time I made cucumber pickle relish and my son decided he liked it as a side dish, which is why I made a double batch this year! I hope you liked the sweepstakes this week – there were some cool new ones!
