This looks like it might be a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping early, or a way to get some great deals for yourself. Free-BooksI hope you saw the FREE Kindle book I shared yesterday.  I just checked it a few minutes ago and it’s $6.99 today, not FREE any more.  Those FREE Kindle book prices don’t last long!  The book I found today is also a cookbook – for Dutch Ovens!  I love my Dutch Oven.  My husband got it for me as a Christmas present last year and it is one of my most loved items in the kitchen.  My Dutch Oven came from World Market, but I’ll share a link for one over at Amazon for a pretty good price (sorry, the Dutch oven isn’t free, just the cookbook about using them is ).

This is a sweet deal – dutch ovens 50% off or more!  Last year my husband got a bright red enamel cast iron dutch oven for me – I’d been drooling over them in the store and he noticed!  I love my dutch oven – mine is a 5 qt.  It’s awesome!  I use it for all kinds of cooking – not just for soups.  We eat gluten free at my house and every time I cooked gluten free pasta, it wanted to stick to the pan – but it doesn’t stick to my dutch oven (it will stick if you don’t tend to it – it’s not magic, but as long as you watch it and stir occasionally, it does great).  If you have someone who loves to cook on your Christmas list – this would be a great gift!

I thought I’d share some of the great kids movies and shows that are available now to pre-order on Amazon.com. I love that Amazon guarantees the lowest price when you pre-buy (if the price drops before they ship it, they will adjust the price)!
I love this first show they have – “Toy Story of Terror – it was on TV last year, did you see it? I must confess, I recorded it on my DVR and it’s still on there! It’s totally adorable and was a fun show to watch (not just for Halloween). There’s a great selection of shows coming out soon and some great prices. These would make some fun birthday or Christmas presents!

Petes-ChristmasPete’s Christmas was one of the Hallmark Channel’s new Christmas movies for 2013.  If you missed it, it was sweet, funny and totally appropriate for the whole family.  I won’t spoil it for you, but let’s just say that Pete learns that Christmas isn’t all about him and what he wants – good lesson in this movie!
